Goulburn Murray Water operate various groundwater disposal pumping stations and associated pipelines to control salinity in the Central Goulburn Irrigation Area. Five of the pump stations, located between Kyabram and Tatura, are relocating their disposal points. This will require the installation of several kilometres of HDPE pipeline.
A contractor is to be appointed to perform trenchless installation of the HDPE pipelines between DN125 mm to DN225 mm using horizontal directional drilling plant. GMW’s Field Services team will supply all pipework and civil construction support. A minimum of 1.7 km of trenchless installation is required.
Works are proposed to commence in February 2021.
The contract will be based on the terms of the Victorian Public Sector Minor Works Contract.
