Tender Description
Tamworth Regional Council manages and operates the Tamworth Regional Airport which is a security controlled screened aerodrome operating under the Aviation Transport Security Act 2004 and the Aviation Transport Security Regulations 2005.
Following an animal strike on an aircraft, a requirement has now been identified for a partial replacement of the existing perimeter fence that surrounds the Tamworth Regional Airport.
The general scope of works includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Supply and installation of approximately 3,400 metres of chain-link security fencing capable of excluding macropod wildlife (i.e. kangaroos) including tie in with existing chain-link fencing.
- Supply and installation of six (6) chain-link security swing gates capable of excluding macropod wildlife.
- Demolition and disposal of all features associated with approximately 900 metres of existing rural fencing and gates.
The Contract is to be completed within sixteen (16) weeks of the acceptance of the tender.
There will be compulsory pre-tender meeting on Thursday, 17 December 2020 at 10:00am in the Tamworth Airport Administration Office.
