The Victorian Murray Floodplain Restoration Project (VMFRP) aims to deliver ecological benefits to wetlands, native fish, birds and plants at nine sites along the Murray River in Norther Victoria.

The project is being delivered collaboratively by a regional partnership, coordinated by Lower Murray Water.

Expression of interest are sought from quarries, existing borrow pits and privately-owned properties for the provision of earthfill material.

The materials will be used for construction works planned in the Guttrum and Benwell State Forests and the Gunbower National Park.

The earthfill materials sought comprise of approximately:

• clay (30,000m3+)
• rock (8,000m3+)
