Monash Medical Centre Clayton Campus Masterplan - Principal Consultant (Architect) including Services Engineer

⁠⁠⁠The Monash Precinct is a long established major global research, teaching and employment hub. The Monash Precinct in Clayton is strategically placed to be an innovation precinct with a focus on technology, health and life sciences which will be further enabled by additional transport linkages in the future.

There is cross government commitment to undertake a coordinated approach to planning, design and development at Clayton. Within the context of Monash National Employment and Innovation Cluster (NEIC), Monash University, the Victorian Heart Hospital, Clayton Station and other significant urban renewal initiatives including the Suburban Rail Loop, the Monash Medical Centre Clayton Campus Master Plan will communicate a clear and compelling vision, directions, initiatives and project priorities. The Master Plan will also emphasise the connection between buildings, social settings, and their surrounding environments in order to maximise utility and ensure social and economic opportunities are available to all.

The Master Plan will outline a capital asset strategy for the Monash Medical Centre Clayton to meet its future healthcare demands. Importantly, it will position the campus as an attractive and connected environment within its unique urban context in order to attract additional health professionals and researchers to the area to continue to provide world leading healthcare to Victorians.

The Monash Medical Centre Clayton Campus Masterplan project involves a strategic masterplan which must be delivered with reference to the Victorian Health and Human Services Building Authority Masterplan Guidelines, the Urban Design Guidelines for Victoria (Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning) and the Clayton Activity Centre Precinct Plan, 2020 (City of Monash).
