Tender Description
This project aims to provide a connection from Horsham Downs Road to the Waikato Expressway Interchange interchange and underpass. Further to this, there is a need to provide safety at the intersection joining Horsham Downs Road to the Waikato Expressway.
General Project Works Description:
The works will involve the following construction needs.
- Enabling works for sediment and erosion controls and all other consent conditions,
- Large volume of cutting to fill earthworks from the nearby borrow site (or fill) into the road embankment,
- Pedestrian underpass for shared path connectivity,
- An off-grade shared path,
- Stormwater drainage including kerb and channel,
- New road pavement,
- Surfacing, landmarking, and signage, and
- Stabilisation of embankment and planting.
