Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The City of Greater Geelong invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake remediation and underpinning works on the Osborne House Stable Wall construction project. Works to be performed include realigning existing sewer line, jacking and underpinning of existing wall with screw piles, removal of old supports and associated civil works.

Evaluation Criteria:
 
Tenderers must review the below mandatory evaluation criteria prior to compiling a submission. If a tenderer cannot satisfy any of the below listed mandatory evaluation criteria, its tender will not be further considered.
  • Tenderer must attend the mandatory site briefing.
  • Tenderer must have proven experience as the lead contractor successfully delivering commercial or industrial (not residential) underpinning projects within the last 3 years on projects with a minimum project value of > $200,000.
  • Tenderer must confirm they will be using a Barwon Water accredited contractor for the sewer and drainage works.
Mandatory Site Briefing:
 
Please be advised that the City will conduct a mandatory site briefing at Osborne House, 51 Swinburne Street, North Geelong 3215 at 10:00am, Wednesday 2 December 2020.
 
City representatives will be present to discuss details regarding the project and the tender process.
 
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the following conditions apply to this site briefing:
  • Each representative attending the site briefing will be required to wear a face mask throughout the entire visit.
  • A maximum of two representatives will be allowed per tenderer - this includes any sub consultants or contractors that the tenderer plans to bring.
  • Details of all representatives including name, contact number and email address must be sent via email to the below stated City representative prior to the site briefing.
  • Social distancing must be maintained at all times.
Failure to comply with any of the above conditions will result in the tenderer being unable to participate in the site briefing. City representatives will monitor and enforce the COVID-19 conditions listed above.
 
Please notify the City of your intention to attend the site briefing by contacting Ryan Nation as detailed in Section 5 of the 'Tender Details and Conditions' document.

Your organisation must review the Contract Terms & Conditions issued with this tender, as per eProcure Response Schedule 'Compliance and Conformance' section and submit any non-conformances at time of tender submission.

The questions within the schedule must be responded to, so it is imperative that tenderers are aware of the format and content of the schedule when collating their tender submission and follow this format when submitting.
