Museums Victoria is calling for nominations to join the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee (ACHAC), a subcommittee of the Museums Board of Victoria. Since 1985, ACHAC has provided advice to Museums Victoria, and advocated for the protection and continuation of cultural heritage material and knowledge of South Eastern Australia – initially as an advisory group to the Indigenous Collections and later as a subcommittee of the Board. ACHAC consists of a maximum of nine members, comprising two members of the Board and seven members of the Victorian First Peoples Community. This EOI is calling for nominations to fill the Victorian First Peoples Community positions.
