DoT is seeking responses to this RFT for the provision of The The Manufacture and Delivery of Two Self Propelled Chipping Spreaders. The details for the provision of The Manufacture and Delivery of Two Self Propelled Chipping Spreaders is fully outlined in Part B.2 – Specifications.
There is a set of mandatory requirements the machines must meet shown in Part B.2 – Specification of this document.
It is our intention to purchase two machines now and fully test them in our work environment to determine their efficiency, reliability and suitability on all work types. Given the satisfactory performance of the machines, there is a potential purchase of an additional four machines in 2021.
Please provide pricing for two units for immediate delivery with further pricing for four units in 2021.
Please note that the initial order for two units is no guarantee for an order for the subsequent units, as these may only be placed after successful testing is completed.
If there is a commercial advantage (discount) to placing an order for all units now, please provide this as a separate pricing option.
