Tender Description

The City of Greater Geelong invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced architectural firms to undertake design services for the Armstrong Creek Town Centre Library & Community Hub project.

Please refer to the tender documentation issued for further details regarding the services required under this contract.

Mandatory Evaluation Criteria:

Tenderers must review the below mandatory evaluation criteria prior to compiling a submission. If a tenderer cannot satisfy any of the below listed mandatory evaluation criteria, its tender will not be further considered.

  • Tenderer must attend the mandatory site briefing.
  • Tenderer must have proven experience for the tenderer as the lead consultant in delivery of 5 Star Green Star Design and As-Built (Building has been registered and certified by the Green Building Council Australia.
  • Tenderer must have proven experience in the delivery of projects (must be completed) in the last 5 years with a total project value in excess of $5m.
  • Tenderer must have proven experience in the design and delivery as the lead consultant of a library and public community centres in the last 10 years.

Mandatory Site Briefing:

Please be advised that the City will conduct a mandatory site briefing at 20 Main St, Armstrong Creek, Geelong 3217 at 2:00pm, Thursday 12 November 2020.

City representatives will be present to discuss details regarding the project and the tender process.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the following conditions apply to this site briefing:

Each representative attending the site briefing will be required to wear a face mask throughout the entire visit.

A maximum of two representatives will be allowed per tenderer - this includes any sub consultants or contractors that the tenderer plans to bring.

Details of all representatives including name, contact number and email address must be sent via email to the below stated City representative prior to the site briefing.

Social distancing must be maintained at all times.

Failure to comply with any of the above conditions will result in the tenderer being unable to participate in the site briefing. City representatives will monitor and enforce the COVID-19 conditions listed above.

Please notify the City of your intention to attend the site briefing by contacting Todd Orme as detailed in Section 5 of the 'Tender Details and Conditions' document.

Draft Contract:

Your organisation must review the Contract Terms & Conditions issued with this tender, as per eProcure Response Schedule 'Compliance and Conformance' section and submit any non-conformances at time of tender submission.

Responses:

Please review the eProcure Response Schedule at the beginning of the tender period. The questions within the schedule must be responded to, so it is imperative that tenderers are aware of the format and content of the schedule when collating their tender submission and follow this format when submitting.

All submissions are to be provided online as an electronic response through this portal, with documentation supporting responses added where necessary.
