Tender Description
The Plenty River Trail project will deliver the 21 kilometre missing link between University Hill in Bundoora and Doreen to the north.
It will link Mernda and Hawkstowe railway stations and make it easier for the community to access the Plenty River and Plenty Gorge Park.
The assignment is for the selected provider to produce a detailed design package, undertake a detailed planning assessment to determine all statutory approvals required, develop key plans and strategies to support all statutory approvals required, management and submission of statutory approval documentation, provide construction phase services and other associated tasks.
They key scope items are as follows:
- Main Trail and Secondary Trails
- Bridge Crossings - 1 new and 1 existing
- Signalised Intersection at Gorge Road
- Lookouts
- Gully Crossings
- Accessible Toilet and Sewer Connection
- Realignment of entry and exit driveway off of Gordons Road
