Skate Lake Mac

⁠⁠⁠Lake Macquarie City Council (Council) provide skating facilities for the residents of Lake Macquarie. With the ongoing population growth of the City, Council are endeavouring to meet this growth by providing more modern and multi-skilled facilities to the community. As such Council is seeking an experienced and qualified contractor(s) to construct to approved designs, a replacement for the existing skate park at Thomas H Halton Park Croudace Bay and two (2) new facilities, a skate park at Bernie Goodwin Memorial Reserve Morisset and a skate park and recreational area at Bahloo Reserve Windale.
Council reserves the right to award the works to a single contractor as a single package of work or to award each location as a separable portion in efforts to minimise overall costs, construction timeframes and have the facilities available for respective community access as early into 2021 as possible.

TENDERERS TO NOTE:
In the preparation and submission of the Tender and without limiting the Tenderer's obligations, the Tenderer will:
(a) submit a Complying Tender in the format proposed by the tender documents which includes the suitable completion of all Schedules inclusive of the Tenderer's Declaration Schedule and any other declarations required completely filled in and signed, together with any other documents, information and details necessary to make the Tender complete;
(b) not submit a Tender without a firm intention to proceed;
(c) not engage in any form of collusive practice; and
(d) not directly or indirectly canvass support from an elected member or employee of Council at any time.
