Tender Description
The District Council of Yankalilla invites tenders from Tenderers for Construction of Forktree Road Upgrade.
This tender is for the upgrading and sealing of the existing road infrastructure on Forktree Road Myponga between Main South Road and Reservoir Road. These works will include but not be limited to the following:
- Traffic control;
- Identification and protection of underground services;
- Tree removals and protection of trees;
- Earthworks;
- Stormwater infrastructure;
- Concrete kerbing;
- Adjustment to service pits, covers, inspection points, survey markers and other penetrations;
- Pavements and sealing;
- Guard rail;
- Batter slope erosion protection and hydroseeding;
- Road Signage and Line marking.
The Contractor shall cost and be responsible for the supply of all materials, supervision, labour and machinery necessary for the establishment, construction, laying, compaction, finishing and cleaning up of the identified site for the project in accordance with the General Specification and Technical Specification and Drawings.
The works are to be undertaken across two financial years being 20/21 and 21/22, the breakdown of this staging of works can be seen in the attached document.
