Fire Rescue Victoria with to notify that a public RFT will be available on the e-Procure website www.eprocure.com.au/mfb/ from early November, 2020 and will be open for 25 days closing late November, 2020.
As of the 1 July 2020, a new fire organisation was formed, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV), it brings together both MFB and CFA career firefighters to serve metropolitan Melbourne and major regional centres.Fire Rescue Victoria will cover existing MFB boundaries and serve metropolitan Melbourne, outer urban areas and larger regional centres across Victoria.
Currently there are two different access control systems utilised at the existing MFB and CFA sites, so to support this merge, the MFB/FRV are seeking to upgrade their current legacy access control systems into one new Security Management System across their portfolio
FRV is seeking tenders for the provision of a New Security System Platform and on-going maintenance for FRV sites across Victoria.
To comply with Government Purchasing Policies consideration will be given to Social Procurement, Local Jobs First initiatives and Compliance to Victorian Protective Data Security Standards when assessing Tenders submission as part of the evaluation process.
