Tender Description
The Mareeba Shire Council is pleased to invite you to tender for the Hales Siding Bridge Reconstruction (Chinaman Creek) on Hales Siding Road.
The work includes:
· Establishment of Contractors Site Facilities;
· Provision for Traffic;
· Environmental Management;
· Erosion and Sediment Control;
· Demolition Works;
· Bridge Works;
· Earth Works; and
· Road Works.
The bridge deck unit and kerb unit design is for precast units that was originally intended to be constructed by Council.
Council would consider Alternative Tenders (in accordance with Clause 1.19 of the conditions of tendering) if a tenderer proposes to provide an alternative deck unit or kerb unit design. The design would need to be certified by an RPEQ and be provided from a supplier with appropriate third-party quality assurance system and procedures. For example; ROCLA, Humes or other similarly certified suppliers would be considered to meet this requirement.
If Tenderers wish to submit an alternative tender, the schedule should be clearly annotated with the words "Alternative Tender" in the header.
