Tender Description
The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (the Ministry) intends to establish a new solution for the purchase of Face-to-Face Interpreting Services across New Zealand. This will support a range of public service needs, including improvements in the provision of services to non-English language proficient public service users.
A range of over 180 languages will be supported, including New Zealand Sign Language and Te Reo Māori.
The result of this RFP is intended to be a new, comprehensive Face-to-Face Interpreting Services solution, with national coverage, consisting of a panel of Language Services Providers (LSPs) contracted under an open syndicated contract. A panel of suppliers means that we intend to select multiple Respondents that will among them provide the required scope of services across New Zealand. An open syndicated contract means that eligible government agencies (Eligible Agencies) can choose to participate in the solution during the term and therefore purchase from the panel.
