Project Management Agreement Panel Refresh

⁠⁠⁠•Refresh of the existing Panel of Project Managers to deliver works under the PMA across all ACT Government Directorates

•To include a civil subsection in the panel for suitable civil contractors

•Individual contracts are executed using Work Orders

•Panel period would be as an extension to the existing panel for up to two years

•Intended for lower value projects ($500K-5M) where it is difficult to accurately define the scope. There may be circumstances where the 5M limit will be lifted.

•The PMA is a contract where the Territory engages a supplier that is both the Project Manager and the Principal Contractor on a project

•Work is shared across panel members however there is no obligation for the Territory to engage a panel member

•The Project Manager is required to manage the scope, budget and program for the project

•The PMA is available on the Major Projects Canberra Website

Generally, tenderers may only participate in a Procurement Process if they are prequalified in the required Category and at, or above, the required financial threshold prior to tender closing. However, Tenders may be short listed on the Panel pending prequalification approval, after Tender closing and up to 17 December, to allow industry time to achieve prequalification in the two new categories: PM Civil R1 and PM Civil R2.
