Tender Description
The Principal seeks to investigate the potential use of groundwater as a new source for the Ohakea and Feilding Water Supply. Subject to the outcome of these works and to final design, the yield required for a production bore is expected to be 10,000 cubic metres per day at each location. The expected depth for completed bores is between 300m to 450m below ground level.
The works comprise the supply of all labour, plant and materials to construct an exploratory bore, followed by potential construction of a production bore, at a site to be confirmed in Feilding, and on council-owned land in Sanson, adjacent to the existing Water Treatment Plant in Sanson. Temporary works are to be removed and the site(s) reinstated.
