Tender Description
The Strategy aims to provide secure, sustainable and reliable data services to all users. It is anticipated to include, but not necessarily be limited to:
• validation of the existing data vision statement;
• validation of the existing leadership and staff capabilities;
• identification and roadmap of priorities including both use cases and foundational capability development including but not limited to
o data sourcing/ingestion/sharing
o data technology
o BI reporting
o analytics
o data governance
o people and culture
• Interdependencies;
• recommendation of future state data architecture and technology selection
• recommendation of delivery options including cost and time;
• recommendation of optimal organizational structure and operating model; and
• data asset lifecycle governance.
The service provider is required to demonstrate:
- experience in delivering a multi-year data strategy for the Commonwealth or equivalent organization;
- good understanding of the latest and the upcoming trends in data and analytics technologies and able to provide case studies; and
- experience of a regulator or equivalent for benchmarking within Australia and internationally is preferred.
