Tender Description
Southern Rural Water seeks the services of a suitably qualified civil contractor to undertake the MID2030 Phase 2 May 2021 Irrigation upgrades.
The main components of the work are irrigation channel regulator upgrades, construction of approximately 2.3km of pipeline, and replacement of existing Dethridge wheel meters with modernised outlets.
The work area is north of Maffra, Victoria, including locations such as Boisdale and Newry.
The tender process will be undertaken with anticipated key dates as follows:
- Open tender 19/02/2021
- Mandatory Site Inspection 04/03/2020
- Close tender 17/03/2021
- Contract award mid April 2021
- Works commence on site 15 May 2021
- Works complete 30 July 2021
It is anticipated that works will be undertaken during the irrigation shut down period.
