Tender Description
This Contract is for the installation of downstream defender units in Taupo, New Zealand.
The Contract is split into 3 Separable Portions as follows:
- Separable Portion 1: Hawai - Downstream Defender Installation (provisional)
- Separable Portion 2: Turangi - Downstream Defender Installation
- Separable Portion 3: Two-Mile Bay Boat Ramp - Downstream Defender Installation
The Tenderer must allow in their tender for the following:
- To locate, pothole and protect existing services / drainage / infrastructure.
- Following the location of existing services on site, provide the Engineer with detailed information of the preferred alignment, depth and installation methodology of the downstream defender unit.
- Prepare as-built drawings of the new stormwater infrastructure
- Modify Hawai Reserve accessway to allow for improved access (provisional)
- Associated reinstatement works.
All works are to be done in accordance with the Specifications, or as directed by the Engineer.
