Moomba Festival is calling for caterers to register their interest to trade at the Moomba Festival 2021.

The Moomba Festival traditionally takes place on the Labour Day weekend (5 - 8 March 2021), and celebrates cultural and community diversity with a program of free entertainment in the parks and gardens along the Yarra River.

Given the current situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Moomba Festival 2021 will be delivered in a revised format. This will have a significant impact on a range of elements, including the number of people permitted to attend the festival/audience capacity. There will be a range of changes made to ensure the festival can proceed in a COVID safe manner. At this point in time we cannot guarantee that the event will go ahead and will be led by the advice from the Victorian Government and the Chief Health Officer.

At this stage we are seeking interest from caterers who operate fully self-contained vans, trailers or containers. Self-contained meaning all food preparation, wash up facilities and service frontage is contained within the space of the outlet itself.

A detailed expression of interest application form will be distributed in December to those caterers who have expressed interest in taking part in the 2021 event.
