Whitsunday Regional Council ‘the Council’ is inviting Tenders from parties that are interested in the purchasing of 9D Dalrymple Street, Bowen.
Council owns the land at Lot 3 on SP 149002, 9D Dalrymple Street, Bowen which is situated within the Mixed-Use area of Bowen.
In accordance with Section 227 of the Local Government Regulation 2012, Council may dispose of a non-current asset by undertaking an invitation for public tenders, ensuring that Sound Contracting Principles are met during the disposal process.
Council has determined that this site is a surplus asset and has no planned use for the area, therefore have considered that the land be sold pending that it meets the reserve price that has been set in conjunction with the land valuation received in September 2020 and Council’s land use expectations.
