The Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services (NTPFES) records and administers firearm licensing and registrations related transactions, through the Shooter and Firearm Easy Registration System (SaFER).

NTPFES are seeking to replace the existing SaFER system with a new bespoke and contemporary system.

The bespoke system, to be called Tracer will be developed in a NTPFES-preferred technology environment operating on NTG technology infrastructure, which is adaptable to future needs.

To deliver Tracer the procurement will require the development of a technical specification with an optional build.
