Murrumbidgee Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced artists for the concept development, design and production of three exciting public art projects.
1. Jerilderie Swimming Pool
The Principle objective of the mural is to create public art work that is visually appealing, adding colour, vibrancy, and character, while publicly celebrating those aspects important to our locals and visitors.
This project provides the opportunity to prepare a mural for a concrete wall measuring 24 metres wide x 3 metres high. The mural can be painted directly onto the wall or the artwork be provided on a suitable medium for reproduction as a semi-permanent work for the wall

2. Darlington Point Wiradjuri Walk
Artwork 1 - Mural: The creation of an eye catching and visually arresting painted mural which upon completion, cam be scanned, expanded and wrapped onto a metal structure approximately 7m Long x 4.5, High. It will be located in the vicinity of Figtree Park. Darlington Point.
Artwork 2 - Painting: The Creation of a painting based around a locally historical theme associated with an interesting story that can be scanned and wrapped on an interpretative sign to be erected on the levee above Figtree Park. The associated story shall be communicated adjacent to the painting.
