Tender Description
Deer are spreading across parts of Australia including most of NSW. The Northern Rivers region contains suitable habitat for the six deer species already present in Australia.
The Australian Government has provided Tweed Shire Council with funding to implement the project titled ‘Regional Collaboration to Prevent the Establishment of Feral Deer in the Northern Rivers of NSW’.
The main focus of this project is to implement the actions in the Northern Rivers Feral Deer Plan 2020- 2025 (to be referred in this document to as the NRFD Plan or the Plan).
Council is seeking a suitably qualified practitioner to implement a project that includes; strategic planning; community awareness raising; field based deer control programe.
