EOI - Purchase of Abandoned Vessel 'ACRUX'

⁠⁠⁠Gippsland Ports invites proposals for the purchase of the abandoned vessel “Acrux”, currently stored on hardstand at Paynesville Boatyard.

The vessel is a Roberts 34 steel sailing yacht 10.36m in length with a 3m beam and 1.8m draft. The vessel has formerly completed a solo circumnavigation of Australia and following lack of use the vessel now needs some restoration. The underwater areas of the hull appear in reasonable condition.

Interested parties are encouraged to inspect the vessel prior to submitting any proposal. Inspection is available during business hours and by prior arrangement only and must be made by contacting the Assistant Harbour Masters on 0437 002 707 or 0429 174 606.
