Tender Description
The City of Hobart is seeking expression of interest from persons seeking the position of independent member of the Risk and Audit Panel, in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993.
The panel consist of five (5) members; two (2) Elected Membes, one (1) Independent Chairperson and two (2) independent members who have, collectively, a broad range of skills and experience relevant to the operations of the Hobart City Council.
The independent members play a pivotal role in the overall effectiveness of the Risk and Audit Panel and its ability to value-add in the governance activities of the Council.
Local government experience is desirable, but not an essential requirement for the role.
