The Department of Transport and Main Roads is seeking to enter into an Early Contractor Involvement procurement process for the Stage 1 Beerburrum to Nambour Rail Upgrade Project.
The Beerburrum to Nambour Rail Upgrade (B2N) Project is part of the Queensland Government’s progressive upgrade of the North Coast Line (NCL) to improve safety, efficiency and reliability.
The North Coast Line is Queensland’s major north-south rail corridor, facilitating freight and passenger movement between Queensland’s eastern coastal population centres from Brisbane to Cairns and is part of the national Land Transport Network.
The prequalification levels for the project are:
- Prequalification construction: R4, B4, A4, F150
- Prequalification design: BD3, GE3, HE3, HD3, TE2, TP3
