Tender Description
The site comprises Tempe Reserve. Briefly the works include, but are not limited to:
• Finalisation of design;
• Installation of environmental protection measures;
• Removal of irrigation, cricket wickets and selected existing sports lighting towers;
• Removal of existing turf thatch and stockpiling of topsoil;
• Bulk earthworks, trimming and compaction of subgrade and construction of pavement base for synthetic sports performance surface;
• Treatment and management of select excavated material in areas identified as containing asbestos and acid sulphate soils;
• Installation of drainage solution under and around synthetic fields;
• Installation of sub soil drainage solution under natural turf fields;
• Installation of new irrigation system to remaining five (A) and four (B) natural turf sports
fields;
• Spread spoil from synthetic base and stockpiled topsoil across remaining four natural turf sports fields and re-establish turf;
• Installation of performance surface including field markings and certifications;
• Installation of new sports field lighting;
• Provision of netting, goal posts, flags, coaches and interchange furniture;
• Miscellaneous road works including car park realignment;
• Provision of operational manual, training and ongoing maintenance; and
• Landscaping including advanced tree planting, mass planting and turf reestablishment.
