Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The Faculty Training Committee in Rehabilitation Medicine seeks expressions of interest from AFRM Fellows to join the Committee.

The Committee oversees training in rehabilitation medicine and is responsible for:

overseeing the training of rehabilitation trainees
assessing eligibility and approving entry into the training program
monitoring and assessing individual trainee progress
monitoring training of, and providing support to, supervisors
assessing recognition of prior learning
monitoring and reviewing training program requirements, assessment and curricular
modifying training requirements for individual trainees, as appropriate, in accordance with College policies and procedures
assessing and providing advice on speciality recognition in rehabilitation medicine for Fellows who have not completed the training program
advise on support and development for trainees

The Committee holds 2 face-to-face meetings in Sydney and 2 teleconferences per year.

Members are appointed to the Committee for a 2-year term with the option to renew for a further 2 terms.
