Tender Description
Registrations of Interest (ROI) are invited to provide Aboriginal archaeological and cultural heritage services for four priority projects identified for the Princes Highway upgrade program. The projects are:
- Upgrade of the Princes Highway between Jervis Bay Road and Sussex Inlet Road (Contract number 20.0000303651.0502)
- Milton Ulladulla bypass (Contract number: 20.0000303651.0503)
- Upgrades of the Princes Highway between Burrill Lake and Batemans Bay (Contract number: 20.0000303651.0519)
- Moruya bypass (Contract number: 20.0000303651.0520)
The work for each project consists of investigating Aboriginal archaeological and cultural heritage, including:
- Collation and review of existing data and information
- Undertaking consultation with Aboriginal stakeholders
- Undertaking Archaeological site surveys and testing
- Undertaking detailed cultural assessments
- Workshops, assessments and reports to support the above
Each project will be awarded to a different tenderer. The successful tenderer for each project will be selected through a two phase procurement process. The first phase requires applicants to submit this ROI. A short list of applicants will then be selected and invited to tender for one or more projects.
A briefing session for applicants will be held at 12.30pm on Thursday 27 August 2020 using Microsoft Teams virtual meeting facilities. Attendance is not mandatory, however, attendance is strongly recommended. Attendance is restricted to a maximum of two attendees per applicant. Interested applicants are required to confirm their attendance to the Request for ROI Manager via email by Wednesday 26 August 2020.
