Tender Description
The ECC- Emergency Coordination Centre (also known as TEMO- Taranaki Emergency Management Office) building in Robe St New Plymouth is a purpose built facility for Civil Defence Emergency Management (CDEM).
CDEM management have requested that significant refurbishment and redevelopment be undertaken on the building, to meet current usage requirements.
The construction works comprise:
- Rearrangement of the office spaces (demolish, and construct walls, doors, windows)
- Refurbishment of kitchen and bathroom facilities
- Acoustic attenuation treatment
- New single storey lift to provide accessible access
- Replacement of the roof to the "lean to area". The new roof has been designed to resist ash loading, as required for a building of IL (importance level) 4.
- New HVAC system
- Electrical and comms
- Redecoration
