Tender Description
The Country Fire Authority (CFA) is intending to release an Open Tender at early September 2020, to construct a new Fire Station located at 116 Princes Highway, Port Fairy VIC 3284.
The proposed Fire Station will consist the following elements:
- A 3-bay, 12 metre long drive-through motor room, fitted with roller doors, a Workshop, Brigade Office, multipurpose / meeting room, kitchen, chair store, turn out area, laundry room, breathing apparatus room, and dedicated male & female toilets including a unisex disabled toilet.
- A CFA standard ICT / Communication room.
- An attached, external porch, 3-bay external shed, one rainwater storage tanks and hose drying tower;
- Landscaping;
- External site works including heavy duty hardstand, sealed crossover, access driveway and on-site car parking facilities;
- Utility services: power, telecom services, water, sewer and stormwater drainage; and
- Road access including any necessary road modifications and traffic management works, line marking and signage.
Construction works is scheduled to commence approximately November 2020 and to be completed by approximately June 2021.
All works must comply with the relevant Occupational Health & Safety Regulations including Industrial Relations Laws and latest DHHS advice in relation to Covid-19 Pandemic
