The University's Infrastructure Branch manages the University's Infrastructure portfolio and provides services in support of the University's learning, teaching and research activities. The Branch provides technical expertise, planning and services for the University's built environment and physical assets to enable achievement of its education and research business goals.

As well as offering a large range of services to support staff and students on the University's three main campuses, the Branch also manages the University's significant property portfolio (leased and owned) of approximately 516,521m2 across 503 buildings.

The University currently has a number of contracts to provide Facilities Management and Maintenance Services in support of the University estate and asset portfolio. The Services are managed centrally by the Infrastructure Branch allowing the University to centrally and directly influence service activities, cost, quality and performance across all campuses and facilities. The additional Facilities Management Service in scope for this notice is Transport Services.
