Tender Description
Purpose:
The purpose of this Notice of Intent is to communicate to the market the Council’s needs to deliver the OARC (three bridges) project, determine the market appetite to participate in a tender process given the contract works timeframes, understand potential risks associated to the delivery of contract works and identify Prospective Contractors with expertise, capability and capacity.
Objectives:
The following are the anticipated objectives that will allow the Council to meet the NOI purposes:
- Market engagement to allow for Prospective Contractor’s advanced planning and Council’s preparation of the tender documents (technical, commercial and legal);
- Allow for an early market understanding on the project scope of works (high level at this stage) through a tender briefing.
- The Council requires Prospective Contractors interested in participating on the tender process to submit a confirmation of interest by returning the Proposal Acknowledgment Form attached;
- Discuss with Prospective Contractors the Council contractual allocation of risks (i.e. Bond, Retention, LDs, etc).
- Allow for a Q&A session in order to get feedback from Prospective Contractors on the proposed design, procurement delivery model, project timeframes and risks associated.
