Tender Description
The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the construction of a new classroom Block (Block J1) at The Gap State High School, located at 1020 Waterworks Road, The Gap, Qld, 4061 as part of the capital works growth program.
The new building will be 4 levels with semi basement car parking, open undercroft and two levels of teaching spaces. The building contains 10 Classrooms, 2 visual arts rooms, 2 art courts, staff room, amenities and a refurbishment of spaces in Block A. The position of the new building is at the rear of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by November 2021.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Have certified 3rd Party Quality Assurance, and
• Minimum PQC Level 3.
Where a PQC Level is stated, the Principal is not obliged to provide tender documents, consider or accept a tender unless the tenderer is appropriately registered under the Queensland Government's PQC System for that PQC Level (or higher) and categories for which the tender is invited.
