Expression of Interest for Automated Wheel Profile Monitoring System

⁠⁠⁠Queensland Rail aims to further improve the safety and compliance of rollingstock that operate on the network by introducing technology that enables reliable and frequent rollingstock asset condition reports. The purpose of this is to introduce pro-active wheelset maintenance strategies, minimise the risk of derailment, and minimise the risk of damage to rail infrastructure.

Queensland Rail is seeking an Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to offer their proposed proven product in accordance with the Specification. Those evaluated and subsequently shortlisted, will be invited by restricted tender to proceed to the next Phase.

Suppliers who wish to access the complete package of tender documents and are interested in submitting a response please follow the below instruction:

Tenderers are to email the nominated Contact Officer (Jade.Pettersen@qr.com.au) to register to access the tender documents and online response form in the Ariba Sourcing system.

If the Tenderer elects to submit a tender response, they must do so by using the Ariba Sourcing system.

Tenderers are encouraged to carefully read all documentation available for download in the Ariba Sourcing system to ensure the tender submitted meets all Queensland Rail’s requirements

Queensland Rail will only accept tender responses submitted via the Ariba Sourcing system.

For this EOI (QRP-19-228), the information uploaded on QTenders is not all the tender information, however it is intended to assist suppliers / interested tenderers to determine whether the scope of works is suitable for their company profile and capability.
