Tender Description
The Northern Grampians Shire is located in Central West Victoria, and covers an area of 5,918 square kilometres. It borders the Grampians National Park, Wimmera Plains (west), Mallee Plains (north) and the Pyrenees Region (east).
Tenders are being sought from appropriately qualified and experienced steel fabrication contractors to supply all materials, fabricate and install a new pedestrian bridge as part of the Halls Gap Public Realm project, generally as per Council's specification, drawings and details.
Halls Gap is located 262km North West of Melbourne. Centred around the town is the Wonderland Range, which is one of the most popular sections of the Grampians with its interesting rock formations, canyons and viewpoints.
A network of roads from the town leads to other scenic drives and a wealth of walking trails. Lakes Bellfield, Lonsdale, Fyans, Wartook and Moora Moora are all within a short drive of the town.
Halls Gap features a wide variety of accommodation styles and offers fine dining both in the town and its immediate surrounds.
