The Lakes Festival is back for 2020 and will be held from 6 November to 15 November 2020.
This year’s festival will look a little different as we take steps to be COVID-safe but the celebration of our waterways will continue!
Memorial Park will come alive with ‘Under The Wave’, a pop up wave structure that will play host to fantastic entertainment features across the ten day festival.
Do you have creative vision? We are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI’s) to fill the space, with creative ideas, theatrical performances and out of the box ideas, while still staying true to the theme of our waterways.
Successful ideas and performances will form part of the festival’s ten-day program and will benefit from a full marketing campaign and be listed in our program.
We are looking for:
- inclusive and immersive entertainment, including live music, magic shows, circus performances, dance groups, comedy nights, movie nights plus more
- focus on the environmental space or a connection to the waterways
- bold, innovative, fun and ‘out of the box’ ideas
- shows will need to be ticketed, either paid or free, and be for 100 participants maximum, while abiding to all social distancing requirements.
