MRPV Construction Panel and Tranche 1a Project RFP

Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) is a dedicated government body charged with planning and delivering major road projects in Victoria. MRPV is a division of the Major Transport

Infrastructure Authority (MTIA), an administrative office in relation to the Department of Transport.

MRPV is seeking to establish a supplier panel of construction contractors to deliver MRPV projects over a 5 year term plus a 2 year extension option (MRPV Construction Panel).

The procurement process to establish the MRPV Construction Panel will be via a single stage open tender process. To be eligible to submit a proposal, respondents must be prequalified under the VicRoads Prequalification Scheme for road and bridge construction in at least category R2 or B3.

The tender process will also provide respondents the opportunity to submit proposals for the first four (4) projects to be engaged through the MRPV Construction Panel (Tranche 1a Projects).

The request for proposal for the MRPV Construction Panel and Tranche 1a Projects (RFP) is expected to be issued on or around the week commencing 20 July 2020 at https://www.tenders.vic.gov.au.

Finalisation of the MRPV Construction Panel and appointment of the successful respondents for the Tranche 1a Projects are expected early to mid September 2020.

The requirements of Instruction 2.1 (International Agreements) under the Ministerial Directions for Public Construction Procurement in Victoria apply to this tender.

NOTE: All communications in relation to this RFP following its release will be managed through the Tender Manager via an Electronic Data Room (EDR).
