The Northern Grampians Shire is located in Central West Victoria, and covers an area of 5,918 square kilometres. It borders the Grampians National Park, Wimmera Plains (west), Mallee Plains (north) and the Pyrenees Region (east).
St Arnaud is located 240km North West of Melbourne. St Arnaud's development commenced with the gold rush of 1850. Originally named the New Bendigo Goldfield, the settlement was renamed St Arnaud shortly after, honouring the commander of the French Forces in the Crimean War - Jaques Leroy de St Arnaud - Marshal of France and a senator. He lies buried in Les Invalides in Paris, along with Napoleon.
The St Arnaud area is also surrounded by wonderful wetlands, rivers and lakes including Teddington Reservoir, Avoca River, Lake Batyo Catyo, Lake Wooroonook, Volcano Reservoir, Lake Jil Jil and Walker's Lake.
Northern Grampians Shire Council is seeking tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced commercial builders for the design & construction of a multipurpose clubroom development at Lord Nelson Park, St Arnaud.
The Project has been divided into two distinct stages being the Separable Portion 1 Works (Design) and the Separable Portion 2 Works (Construction)
