Tender Description
The functions and responsibilities of the Audit Committee are detailed in the PGPA Act and the APVMA Audit Committee Charter (Attachment A).
The audit committee holds four meetings each year in March, May, September and December.
The contractor will be expected to:
- read the Audit Committee papers provided by the APVMA and prepare for each meeting of the Committee
- be (or quickly become) familiar with the APVMA’s operations
- facilitate the Committee’s performance of its functions and responsibilities
- attend meetings on the agreed day.
The contractor may be required from time-to-time to provide advice or assistance to the APVMA’s Chief Executive Officer or Deputy Chief Executive Officer on matters relating to internal controls, compliance, risk, financial management and reporting.
