Tender Description
Busselton Water each financial year commits to new and/or existing water main upgrade projects generally ranging from, but is not limited to 100mm PVC to 375mm PVC. Polyethylene pipe is also used by Busselton Water in civil pipelaying works.
Busselton Water undertakes planned and unplanned asset maintenance activities on live potable water mains and services.
Busselton Water seeks the services of three (3) suitably qualified civil construction companies to assist in the delivery of capital water main projects throughout the financial year. The range of duties will include but not limited to;
- Project management through to completion of new and/or upgrade of water main projects.
- Provide plant and labour support to Busselton Water staff.
- Undertake maintenance activities on live water assets.
- Complete reinstatement work of roads and hardstand area to the City of Busselton Standards
Please note; this contract does not guarantee any value of work per financial year to the contractor's. Planned water main construction projects will be sent to the successful panel contractor's for competitive pricing submissions. Planned and unplanned maintenance activities will be allocated at the discretion of the Distribution Supervisor.
Busselton Water still reserves the right to complete work with its own labour staff for any project it deems appropriate.
