Tender Description
Council invites quotes from suitably qualified consultants to prepare an Archaeological Heritage Study. The purpose of the Study is to reassess known sites that contain archaeological deposits, identify new areas of potential archaeological significance and recommend management actions to provide greater certainty around Hornsby Shire's historical archaeology to inform the preparation of subsequent studies under Council's Comprehensive Heritage Review Program.
The selection of the consultant will be undertaken on the basis of the following criteria:
1. Appreciation of the project brief and purpose of the project;
2. Proposed methodology including stakeholder engagement and consultation with the Heritage and Aboriginal advisory committees, the Historical Societies and Aboriginal participation (where required);
3. Consultants' qualifications, skills and experience;
4. Details of project budget; and
5. Detailed project timeline demonstrating ability and commitment to complete the project within the set timeframe.
