Air Conditioners

⁠⁠⁠The contract is for the supply on hire, delivery, installation, commission, service, maintainance and removal of refrigerated air conditioning and evaporative cooling equipment for the 2021 - 2023 Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix.

The Works under the Contract will include, but not be limited to:

• provision of own Site facilities;
• transportation, unpacking and repacking the AGPC owned containers and equipment from the Tottenham Storage Yard (TSY);
• provision of a comprehensive inventory and condition report of all AGPC owned assets pre and post Event;
• installation, commissioning, service, maintenance, removal and return of AGPC owned air conditioning units and evaporative cooling units;
• Contractor has the option to provide their own air conditioning units if it offers a cost saving to the AGPC;
• the design, supply on hire, delivery, installation, commissioning, service, maintenance and removal of evaporative cooling equipment, refrigerated air conditioning system, package air conditioning systems and wall hung splits units;
• preparation of calculations for evaporative cooling equipment, refrigerated air conditioning systems, package air conditioning systems and wall hung split units;
• provision for all parts, equipment and materials to complete the required works;
• the supply on hire, install, commission, maintain and remove Team Kitchens – Exhaust Fans & Ventilation grilles;
• the supply on hire, install, commission, maintain and remove portable ‘Movincool’ refrigerated AC units;
• commissioning, service and maintenance of existing air conditioning units installed in the Engineering Site Office, Medical Centre and Commentary boxes;
• commissioning, service and maintenance of existing evaporative and refrigerated units permanently installed on Pit Buildings 1 - 6 for Race Control & the Paddock Club;
• service call monitoring and site contact and;
• provision of a standby crew during the Event period for maintenance and rectification.
