Indigo Shire Council is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to develop and deliver a business improvement program to improve the commercial capacity of Indigo’s businesses.
The Indigo Shire Economic Development and Investment team has identified an opportunity to provide the businesses of Indigo with free business coaching to upskill businesses to better manage the many challenges faced by small businesses trading in regional areas.
During the recent bushfire and COVID-19 environment, businesses have expressed and demonstrated the need for specific guidance and support in developing capabilities with core business skills including financial management, people management, marketing, and managing supply and distribution channels. Managing the health and wellbeing of owners and staff has been a particular challenge in recent times.
This program aims to provide connection and care for operators who are under financial and emotional duress due to skill and process gaps within their enterprises.
