Hume City Council (HCC) is inviting tenders from qualified and experienced contractor to provide professional services for the Repairs & Expansion Project of the D S Aitken Reserve Skatepark in Craigieburn.
The successful contractor will also coordinate and lead the community and stakeholder consultation process for the same project. The final design is to integrate surrounding parkland and recreation facilities through well considered landscaping, skating functionality, safety and of a suitable size to service a district catchment of 6 neighbourhoods, in the Municipality.
Also, the finished skatepark to include skating, scooter and BMX facilities, catering to all skills levels from beginner to advanced, active and non-active users.
The community and stakeholder consultation must actively involve the users and relevant stakeholders in the planning, development and ongoing use of the proposed Skate, Scooter and BMX facility.
