Kingston City Council (KCC) is seeking the latest information from the stormwater industry on suitable pumps and pumping station technology for consideration as part of Council's capital works program to construct stormwater improvements within flood prone areas.

Council is seeking responses from:

• Suppliers;
• Designers; or
• Design & Construct contractors
• And we are specifically seeking detailed information about:
• Robust above ground and submersible pumps that have a history of low maintenance and can discharge large objects, with flow rates in the range of 50 Litres per second up to 1,000 Litres per second;
• Large pump station sumps and structures incorporating pump protection screens; and
• Large pump station installation methodologies for sites with footprint restrictions on the excavation area.
• Control panels that meet our specific needs;
• Automatic and manual valves and sluice gates for pipes in the range of 150mm up to 1200mm diameter.

The purpose of this request is exclusively for the collection of information to inform our range of options for future drainage projects.

No direct purchases, panels and short-lists will be created from this process.
