Tender Description
Mareeba Shire Council have received funding under the Local Government Grants program to refurbish the building allowing the co-location of library services, training, events and recreational activities. This project will deliver the first community Hub in the Mareeba area.
Council has proceeded to deliver in a staged approach of which this tender covers the third and final stage of the works.
Currently Stages one and two of the project have been delivered.
Stage One:
Included design and construction of the extension of current building to re house the MBA. Relocation of the bowls club into the new building.
Stage Two:
Was the design and documentation of the refurbishment works for the area of the building vacated by the Mareeba Bowls Club.
The purpose of this Tender is to invite interested parties to submit a full cost response to Council for Stage Three of the Community Hub works. Being -
The refurbishment of the existing building and facilities, after they are fully vacated by the Bowls club and prior to integration of the library facilities into the hub in early December 2020.
Please note there is a mandatory site visit on Friday 3 July at 3pm on site Anzac Avenue Mareeba.
