Overview
Kowanyama Aboriginal Shire Council invites suitably qualified and experienced construction contractors to undertake the construction of the Kowanyama Museum Cultural Vault in accordance with the approved design and technical specification documentation provided.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Construction of the Kowanyama Museum Cultural Vault in accordance with the approved design and technical specification documentation
Contractor Requirements
- Suitably qualified and experienced in construction works
- Indigenous rights and interests are to be acknowledged and respected by selected contractors
Location
The facility is to be constructed on lot 135 on SP272069. The land is held by Council, and the project's impact on determined Native Title and Aboriginal Cultural Heritage rights and interests has been validated by way of a registered Indigenous Land Use Agreement with the National Native Title Tribunal (expected to be registered by close of tender).
